    cotillion gloves (crochet)

The Cotillion Gloves are a simple pair of crocheted fingerless mitts with easy shaping so that they hug the hand and wrist for a snug, warm fit. These gloves are a quick, easy project with lots of pretty details: crab-stitch lined finger and thumb openings, a delicate scalloped ruffle at the cuff, and sweet flower and leaf appliques.

These delicate fingerless gloves are a great way to make use of handpainted sock yarns, and look good in solid, variegated, and semi-solid yarns.

    materials needed:

175 yards (160 meters) fingering weight yarn; shown in Koigu Painter's Palette Premium Merino (KPPPM), 100% merino wool, 175 yards/160 meters, 50 grams (1.76 ounces)

    3.5 mm (E) crochet hook

    tapestry needle
