tidepools
I sat outside yesterday evening in the company of good friends, celebrating a birthday; watched flocks of birds flying overhead, surrounded by vibrant tiles and succulents and murals. Today, I finished the first sock - tidepool colors; vibrant summer blues.
I'm writing the pattern up so that I can share it; I'd like to make them again, in my size this time. I've given away all the socks I've ever knit! I love picot hems so much; history repeats itself, I suppose. I want to wear these as anklets.
The stitch pattern is so simple, but looks pretty, I think, in the Fleece Artist Sea Wool - slightly nubby, lovely sheen, the slight changes of color adding a little bit of depth. I'm such a sock knitting junky; I needed my fix.

The socks are nothing short of gorgeous.
You are so generous! It pains me to give away a single pair of socks. I'm selfish about my knits!
