soothing, simple

colors I love

Vibrant and bright colors; soothing, simple knitting.  This summer has been busybusy; I've set aside all my WIPs* except these socks; they go with me everywhere.  Those stolen moments are adding up.

*So, I'm totally lying to Ravelry about how many WIPs I have.  I've uploaded and admitted to four... but if I did a little closet digging, I couldn't even hazard a guess as to the real number.   My unfinished projects roll deep.  I do find those little "wip" indicators on the project page to be motivating, though, so perhaps a little owning up is in order.

I love those pictures!

And I know what you mean about Ravelry. The part I love is that you change WIP to hibernate and it goes to the end of your projects. So they are still there but they are not slapping you in the face every time you look at your projects!

I think that Ravelry may have cured me of Start-itis. I hate seeing more that one row of WIPs, so I keep the number to 4. Anymore and I start to sweat!

Great photos!

Ravelry doesn't know all my WIP either! But hey, a girls gotta have some secrets, right?

I love this ingenious photo shoot. And of course, Ravelry doesn't need to know everything... wink, wink!

Heh, lying to Ravelry. Wicked girl. I can't even lie; I never used to take photos of my WIPs/FOs, so very little of what I've knit/crocheted is on Ravelry. But that queue...oh my. I want to cast on EVERYTHING. To each her wickedness....

Liar liar. I'm tagging you, you're it. List 8 random facts/habits then tag 8 people...you know if you want.

You know, you can always set their status as "hibernating" and then there's a little zzz instead of a wip. Which may be a more honest label, while at the same time accomplishing the goal of shaming yourself into finishing them. ;)
