redwood ocean air

Capitola Sunshine

I spent a long weekend at my mom's house up north, in Capitola, visiting with my mom and my brothers.  We spent our days eating and walking along the coast, the river, the streets of the village.  The air in Capitola mixes redwoods with ocean breezes.  Familiar trees - bay, pepper, eucalyptus, live oak.  Sunshine, sea, nature.  A perfect town.  I miss it.

Ahhh, what a lovely spot to spend the weekend -- especially with family! Did you make it to Gayle's bakery?
