awesome pattern sale: Simple Things and Xeriscape!

One of the most fun things about working for Ravelry is seeing neat new features while they are still in development, and getting to test and help plan. It's really exciting! Lately, Casey has been working hard on adding promo code features to the Ravelry Pattern Store, so that designers selling their patterns through the Ravelry pattern sales service have all kinds of cool options for discounting their patterns. We did a designer survey a while back, and this was the number one most requested feature, so we are really pleased to have it almost ready to release!

The promo codes are ready to test now... and I get to be the very first guinea pig! I'm really excited to be able to help out at work and run a fun promotional pattern sale all at the same time.

Here's the deal: with the promo code awesome (Casey picked that code for testing and it made me laugh, so I'm keeping it)* if you buy either Simple Things or Xeriscape from now until September 30, you can get the second pattern for $2.00 off, making the total price for both patterns $8.00 instead of the usual $10.00. Just bought Xeriscape, I already had Simple Things. Thought you should know that I didn't get the option to use a coupon code if I used the "buy it now" button. I had to add it to my cart, then view the cart to see the box to add the coupon code. Works perfectly other than that, though! Thank you for offering a discount!
